This year's edition of the ultimate college football pool includes a good mix of long time veterans, some players with a couple of years under their belts, and some pure rookies. For the review of the veterans or for the education of rookies, here are some good rules to follow to ensure the ultimate in your BUCFP experience:
- Make your picks. This goes for Main Pool players as well as Elimination Pool players. Nothing takes the enjoyment out of your BUCFP experience more than NOT PARTICIPATING. Here's a hint: when the lineups are posted by Yahoo! on Tuesday, run through them and make picks. You can always change them later in the week of the spread changes.
- Make your picks. I can't stress this enough.
- Don't do what Ultimate Bill or Show Me the Money does. Show Me the Money and Ultimate Bill have played in every single version of this pool ever completed (numbering around 15 now) and have not so much as sniffed a title.
- Get Pumped. First off, it's college football - the greatest sport ever. Second, you are a lucky participate in the WORLD'S MOST ULTIMATE COLLEGE FOOTBALL POOL! Want proof? Would anything less than the most ultimate pool have it's OWN THEME SONG?
